Programs
Workforce Investment Boards, including Workforce Tulsa, have a broad two-part role:
- To coordinate all workforce programs in an effort to change a seamless system of workforce services to employers and job seekers
- To oversee federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funds which are used to help employers and job seekers
This two-part role gives Workforce Tulsa the ability to make a critical impact in how employers and job seekers improve their economic standing.
We also have a small amount of dollars which we use to deliver workforce development services through five One Stop Job Centers across our four-county region. We use these dollars to serve Adults, Youth and Dislocated Workers who are seeking to improve their economic standing.
