Oversight Committee
The Oversight Committee’s primary role is to conduct oversight and evaluation of services and activities conducted through funds overseen by the TAWIB, including all programs (WIA Adult, Youth and Dislocated Workers programs) and activities within the One-Stop Center(s), judge and make recommendations on program effectiveness to achieve required performance standards, affect continuous improvement activities, including customer satisfaction, and their alignment with the Local Strategic Plan. The three areas most impacted by the Oversight Committee are Fiscal, Compliance and Contract Administration. The Oversight Committee is where many new proposals and processes are introduced for consideration. After deliberation, any items for consideration recommendation are forwarded to the Executive Committee for detailed review. The Executive Committee also carries-out other functions that may be assigned to it by the Board and/or the Chair of the TAWIB.
